Christmas Eve 2010

We had a wonderful Christmas Eve from morning to night. We (Eric, Ro, me, TJ, Erin, and my mom and dad) started the day having a delicious breakfast at Papa and Grammy's house. Then we opened gifts and had a blast once again watching Rowen LOVE each and every gift. We relaxed and played for a bit before getting ready to go ice skating downtown.

We met the Gill family and my Grandma at the ice rink and enjoyed time together skating. Rowen was very willing and excited to skate. He was a pretty good sport about it all. It must have been uncomfortable for him because we practically had to yank on each arm to keep him upright. Ro skated for probably 30 minutes at the most and then he was done and so was mama! We watched Papa, Grammy, and all the cousins skate before we all left to go out to dinner. Ro fell asleep on the way there but he woke up in time to enjoy his meal and everyone's company.

After dinner we headed to the Gill's house to open gifts and play games. Rowen enjoyed every minute of this experience with his cousins. He and Olivia played tea party for a long time in Olivia's new fairy tent and then Ro let it be known that he was worn out from such an exciting day. We headed home fairly early for bath and bed and to prepare for Christmas morning!

Great photos! Looks like such a fun tradition- going ice skating! That is actually very impressive that Ro skated for 30 mins....it is hard work!
