Just recently he swam with daddy and then a few days later Papa and Grammy came over and Rowen started taking Papa's shirt off and pointing to the pool... so, Papa got in the pool with Rowen! Rowen is getting much more comfortable with the water. He will lay down on his tummy and he tries to blow bubbles in the water. He also gets in and out of his pool with ease and sits on the the side of the pool for little breaks :). There are ducks and fish painted on the pool so Rowen points to each duck and says, "mama", "dada", and "baby". He also makes his fish face when he points to the fish.

A few days ago I went all out by filling up the pool early so that it would be nice and warm by the time Rowen woke up from his nap. When he woke up I fed him, then put my suit on, stripped him down, lathered us both in sunscreen and sat down in his pool thinking he would love to swim with mama... well, that wasn't interesting to Rowen in the least bit. He barely stuck around long enough for me to do "Row, row, row your boat" and a few other fun swimming pool songs. However, once I put the end of slide into the water he was VERY interested in the pool. He is such a boy- whatever is most dangerous is the most fun :).

Rowen started his second round of swimming lessons this week... with daddy this time! Eric makes it home from work just in time for us to jump in the car, eat a sandwich on the way and arrive just in time. A few of Rowen's friends are also taking the same class- Cooper, Blake, and Keegan. Grandpa and Nana came to watch Rowen's first lesson on Tuesday. Rowen was thrilled to see them there. He was distracted several times during the lesson when he would spot them in the crowd. As soon as the lesson was over he had to go over to say hello.
